Hacking Growth Sean Ellis

The definitive playbook by the pioneers of Growth Hacking, one of the hottest business methodologies in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Doing for market-share growth what Lean Start-Up did for product development, and Scrum did for productivity, Hacking Growth involves cross-functional teams and rapid-tempo testing and iteration. But, the key difference is that it drives rapid growth by focusing on the maximizing the potential of each product by working on just the things that matter to customers: attaining them, retaining them, engaging them, and motivating them to come back and buy more.

An accessible and practical toolkit that that teams and companies in all industries can use to grow their customer base and increase market share, this is a must read for any marketer, entrepreneur, innovator or manger looking to replace wasteful big bets and "spaghetti-on-the-wall" approaches with more consistent, replicable, cost-effective, and data-driven results.

Best-selling author, business consultant, and former journalist Bryce Hoffman was the first civilian invited to participate in the U.S. Army’s three months long “Red Team” training for senior officers at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.  He now brings the secrets and tools of the military’s strategic contrarian thinking to bulletproof a company’s decision-making and avoid being blindsided by competitors and black swan events, revealing how today’s most disruptive companies, Google and Toyota among them, already employ some of these techniques organically.

The Underground Culinary Tour Damian Mogavero

In the bestselling tradition of Moneyball, The Underground Culinary Tour is a high-octane, behind-the-scenes narrative about how the restaurant industry, traditionally run by gut and intuition, is being transformed by the use of data.  From the kitchens of Guy Fieri, Danny Meyer, Tom Colicchio, and Gordon Ramsey to the spectacle of Las Vegas, from Brennan’s in New Orleans to the beaches of Montauk, Damian Mogavero shows how the world’s top chefs use data to coordinate everything from the food they stock to the menus they create, and from the service and ambiance they orchestrate to the drinks menu they craft.

Book Cover of The Difference by Subir Chowdhury (ISBN: 9780451496218)
The Difference Subir Chowdhury

Bestselling author and quality guru Subir Chowdhury tackles a question that has haunted him in his work over the years with many of the world’s largest companies.  Why is it that some companies improve only incrementally, while others improve fifty times that?  The ideas and training are the same.  What makes the difference?  What Chowdhury reveals in this short, powerful book is that quantum improvement is directly related to the loyalty, skills, and passion of a company’s employees – and to the strength of a company’s culture.  Having a caring mindset is essential to creating personal and workplace success.
